Tur Budaya 2019

In 17th until 21st March 2019, SMA Negeri 3 Bandung was held annual activity that we called it Tur Budaya to Bali. The purpose of this activity is to learn about the culture in Bali, because Bali have a lot of culture that we don't know before. Other than that the purpose of this activity is to strengthen the sense of family between students especially 11th grade SMA Negeri 3 Bandung.

So, in Sunday, 17th March we gather at Husein Sastranegara Airport at 10.00. We must arrive at airport a few hours before take off. Around 14.00 we take off to Bali. And at 16.30 Bali time we arrive at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Bali. After that we take our bag and get ready to bus and we start our trip in Bali.

Our first destination in Bali is Tanah Lot, but because our plane is delay so we can not go to Tanah Lot. So we only go to Jimbaran Beach. In this beach we not only enjoy the view but we dinner together and the dish that we eat is seafood. But unfortunately the weather at that time did not support, so some of us had to finish the food in teh restourant near the beach. Because it was raining we had to go to the hotel and take a rest because it was already late at night.

In second day in Bali we go to Tanjung Benoa Watersport. In this beach we can play several games like donut boat, banana boat, jetski, flying fish, and other fun games. some of these games will make our body wet, but if you don't want your body wet you can go to turtle island with glass bottom boat, so you can see the view under the see from the boat. After playing some of games at that beach we lunch together. And then we go to Pujamandala, Pudjamandala is a place for worship in Bali where there are 5 religious places of worship. From Pudjamandala we go to Pandawa Beach, Pandawa Beach is located behind the hill. In Pandawa Beach we can take a picture. After that we continue our trip to Garuda Wisnu Kencana cultural park.  It is devoted to the Hindu god Vishnu, and his mount, Garuda, the mythical bird who became his companion. It established as a landmark or mascot of Bali, construction of the giant statue of Vishnu riding his mount Garuda, as high as 120 metres was completed in August 2018. Then we go to Bali Nusa Dua Theatre Nusa Dua to watch Devdan Show and this our last destination in second day.

In the third day in Bali we go to Tirta Empul at this place, in this place there is a source of springs created by the god Bhatra Indra which is believed by the Hindu religious community. When entering this place we will be asked to use sarong or kamen cloth. From Tirta Empul we lunch at Kintamani. After that we go to Desa Adat Penglipuran. But not long after we entering the village, the weather at that time did not support again. So we must waited in one of villager's house. After several minute we waited, we go back to our bus and we go to the hotel to get ready for makrab (malam keakraban).

In the fourth day we check out from the hotel, and we go to Kuta Beach, in that beach we also take a picture and then we shopping in Krisna Sunset Road. From Krisna we continue our trip to Bedugul, in that place there is a temple (pura) in the middle of the lake and the place is also visited by many foreign tourist. After that we continue our trip to Surabaya, we have to cross the ocean to get to Surabaya.

In Surabaya we go to Suramadu Bridge, after that we get lunch at Warung Wulan Surabaya. Then we go to Djuanda Station and we go to Bandung at 17.30 the train arrived in Bandung at 05.00
Tur Budaya was a memorable memory for me because I can spent it with full of fun activities with my classmates and also my schoolmates.
